Default 41' FIBERGLASS PLEASURE TRAWLER "LIVEABOARD"SANTA CRUZ (santa cruz) $79000

There is a permanent slip available in the Santa Cruz Harbor with live aboard privileges for this boat.

Up for sale is a 41' Trawler built in 1978 by CHB Ltd., which is sound and ready for cruising, or live aboard. "Lola" is a production fiberglass constructed 41' pleasure trawler. The lines have been developed from the Pacific North West commercial fishing trawlers. The heavy displacement mono hull has a flared bow entrance. The topside freeboard is considered high. The sheer line drops amidships. The transom is wide and lightly crowned. A swim platform is fitted on the transom. The underwater surface shows a semi V-shaped entrance extending to a full length medium draft keel. The bilge sections are single and hard chined.

The hull is powered by twin four cylinder diesel inboards turning twin propeller shafts. The machinery is fitted in the amidships bilge with excellent access from the cabin sole

The bow area is fitted with anchor gear, including a new electric Cayman Windlass. Overhead lighting is provided for the side decks. An aft cockpit is fitted. A self-bailing bulwark is fitted around the perimeter of the deck.

A large tri-compartment flybridge station cabin is mounted with a lower trunk styled cabin extending forward. The trunk cabin is fitted with a ventilation hatch. The main cabin has three large ports forward with a sliding weather door on the starboard side giving access to the main helm position. The main helm position has space to accomodate a full range of navigation equipment. Two side ports provide light for the spacious amidships salon area. Lowered forward cabin has two bronze ports to a side as well as a ventilation hatch above. Access to the extended flybridge is from the stern. Instrumentation and wheel steering are fitted at the flybridge. The upper station gives excellent visibility.

The accomodations below are carefully arranged with a master stateroom aft. The stateroom is equipped with a private head with an enclosed vanity which includes a shower and tub arrangement. Both heads are new and unused. The forward state room is fitted with two bunk berths, a hanging locker and ample storage. Access to the forward water closet is by two way doors giving crew members access without disturbing the guests. The main salon is open and hospitable. A u-shaped galley is fitted with deep stainless steel sinks, refrigeration and a sea going stove with oven. A hi-lo folding leaf cocktail table with comfortable seating is mounted as well as a built-in bar. Solid teak trim is used throughout the interior. The cabin doors are carved. The cabin sole is teak parquet.

Machinery: Twin "Leham Ford" Four Cylinder Diesel Inboard Engines, 120 HP each. New water pumps, hoses, clamps, and heat exchangers. Freshly painted engine room. New Onan Generator, bilge pumps, hoses and clamps. Halon automatic fire extinguisher system.

Fuel Tanks and Systems: 2 Main tanks, 270 gallons each. New fuel filters, hoses and lines.

Water Tankage and Systems: 300 gallons. Hot water heater, 12 volt pressure water system.

New 110 and 12 volt circuit breaker panels. New D8 batteries.

Anchor Gear: New Electric Cayman Windlass. Plow anchor, chain and line.

Hull Condition: Hauled January 2009, three coats bottom paint, all new through hull, ball valves, hoses and clamps. Polished top sides, freshly painted name and hailing port. Freshly packed stuffing flange.
