We are seeking a proven sales leader to join our sales team as our Regional Vice President. This position will ideally be based in San Diego, CA and will support our Marine and Protective Coating markets for the West Coast Region.

This position will provide management direction and leadership to the regional sales team to fulfill business targets within the Sub Business Unit. Your essential job functions are to effectively lead and manage regional sales team to meet agreed sales and profit targets; Management of Regional Sales including sales strategies, sales budgets, expense budgets, rolling forecasts; Organization and operation of region to include market analysis, distribution support, and coordination of all internal communications to effectively move the business forward; Support of other sBU requirements such as focus groups and workshops as needed; and Work to build recruitment strategy for future regional expansion.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree with 10 plus years experience in the industrial/marine coatings markets. You will have demonstrated success in sales, previous experience with effective sales management and planning, excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all employees and customer levels. Other skills required would be that you are proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and are able to travel. It would be a plus to have experience with inventory management, knowledge of general marine operation of ships and shipyards, and strong presentation abilities.
