Director of Yacht Sales
DESCRIPTION Premier boat retailer has an immediate opening for an experienced, dynamic, professional Director of Yacht Sales, based out of it's newest location in Boston, MA; to lead high end, high volume, multi location, multi brand, dealership Yacht sales and marketing activities. A minimum of 3 - 5 years retail boat sales/ management experience required.

This position will enjoy an outstanding compensation (base salary and performance bonuses) and generous benefits package.

Position description:

Sell products by implementing sales and marketing activities; supervising and leading a successful Yacht sales team while ensuring an exceptional customer sales/delivery and ownership experience.

*Establishes and meets sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for locations; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

*Develop Yacht sales marketing plan in concert with company wide advertising and marketing initiatives; oversee implementation to exploit lead generation and attraction

*Oversee lead management system to ensure ALL Yacht sales opportunities are responded to timely and appropriately

*Implements sales programs by developing field sales action plans

*Maintains sales volume product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.

*Product coordination and expertise; manufacturer relations

*Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training, developing sales skills and motivating employees

*Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results

*Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies

*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

*Produce timely and accurate paperwork

*Develop and increase market share penetration
