Sunstream Corporation is a high growth manufacturing company based in Kent, Washington. Sunstream leads the boat lift industry locally and worldwide and prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service. Currently, Sunstream is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to complete our highly motivated and energetic team. Responsibilities include:
• Territory networking and prospecting for new business opportunities. Identifying new dealer and market opportunities through industry research, telephone networking, and internet prospecting. Traveling to identify prospects and to close deals. Developing and maintaining Sunstream’s dealer network through progressive, targeted market research.
• Building strong client relationships to produce a highly successful dealer network.
• Working with the Dealer Sales Manager and Inside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed aggressive sales goals.
• Providing accurate forecasts and ensuring that performance targets and business plans are met or exceeded.
• Gaining knowledge of Sunstream’s product line to successfully promote dealership opportunities.
• Travelling and conducting dealer meetings, delivering presentations, and attending boat shows.

Ideal candidate will have:
• College degree in a business-related field (required).
• Interest and knowledge of the Marine industry.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of outside dealer sales experience in a business development role. Proven skill in recruiting and developing a strong dealer network.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication including professional and courteous telephone demeanor.
• Exceptional customer service and positive and effective interpersonal skills.
• First-rate computer and technical skills. Proficiency in MS Office a must. Adobe acrobat, Goldmine and M2M experience a plus.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, and desire to succeed.
Travel:
• 50% (maximum) travel will be required in US and Canada.
