Cobalt Boats, a manufacturer of world-class stern drive boats, is searching for an experienced, proactive and passionate sales and marketing professional to join our team as Director of Sales, Customer Service and Marketing. This position will play a key leadership role in our companyís strategic direction and future success, and will report directly to the President of the company.

Our company is currently enjoying strong sales as a result of an effective new product strategy and very close working relationships with a great dealer network. We are searching for the right person to continue to strengthen our brand, our dealer partners, and operational effectiveness. Below are some key competencies that will position this person well for success:

Experience and proven results refining, cultivating and executing an effective selling strategy, resulting in sales growth of high-end consumer products
Demonstrated understanding of the critical nature of product distribution through a dealer network, as well as the ability to enhance the value of strong relationships our company enjoys with our dealers
Experience in leading a team of global sales/factory representatives in a well-structured, goal-oriented, inspiring manner
Ability to manage the inside sales administrative team to improved procedures, collaboration, and effectiveness
Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the sales and marketing function as it relates to a manufacturing company
Participation in setting and executing company-wide strategy, including operational and manufacturing strategy
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively resolve problems or issues in a timely manner by using judgment that is consistent with the Cobaltís standards, practices and policies
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
The position will have responsibility for leading our internal administrative and field sales representation team, as well as our internal customer service group. We are searching for someone who can nurture and portray the many competencies that our team has developed over forty years, but also one who will not rest on these past successes alone. This position will be located at our primary office in Neodesha, KS.
