Travelers’ Boat and Yacht Claims Leadership has been working diligently on an organizational restructure to better align our claims initiatives with the needs of our agents and customers. In doing so, we have identified an exciting opportunity for which we are looking for talented individuals. This position will be instrumental in helping ensure we are positioned to deliver the world-class claims service that our customers and agents have come to expect.


Boat/Yacht Staff Surveyor: An excellent career opportunity for a high-energy claims professional or independent boat/yacht surveyor looking for a new challenge. This position requires an intimate technical knowledge of boat and yacht construction and a working knowledge of the claims handling process. Marine Surveyor certification such as Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS®) or National Association of Marine Surveyors (NAMS) is a plus. Additional accreditations in electrical, corrosion, fiberglass, diesel, outboard and outdrive repairs also a plus. This position will play an active role in helping define and implement strategies, workflows and best practices in the handling of boat and yacht claims. Excellent salary and benefits package. This position will be located within the Northeastern United States, preferably the Long Island area. This is a field position and extensive travel in the Northeast will be necessary.
