Description: Development of product plans and related strategies covering up to a 3 year period for the Marine Group. Assist Sr. Manager and marine Management in the development of launch plans for these new models and marketing tactics. Ability to work effectively as SPL leader on new model development plans with key members of sales, service, advertising, PR and marketing research, logistics and the development teams from R&D Japan Planning office and HRA-FLA testing departments. Provide direction in the positioning strategy for each model and development and execution of specific promotional plans to support these
models. Provide ideas and recommendations on new sales programs needed to new and existing models and timely implementation of the approved marketing plans to meet sales goals. Responsible for managing the development of recommended Boat and trade show venues and related promotions to reach those targeted customers to achieve sales goals.
Manage the development and implementation of yearly Dealership Sales Training support tools for new models and to strengthen models and showcasing the Honda Advantage.

Requirements: Minimum of 7-10 years in Marine industry or related industry and/or Marine retail experience with progressive management rotation in key areas such as Field Sales,
Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, and Product planning areas a plus. Ability to manage multiple complex projects and complete them a timely basis and within budget. Key Skills Include: -Project management skills including market analysis and product development A strong technical background in outboard technical and sales training -ad product development Experience in developing and executing sales programs and promotions Core marketing and sales experience necessary to be successful -Ability to manage marketing and promotion budget showcasing ROI -Team player and excellent communication skills -Ability to both create and present clear ideas and concepts to various levels of management -Develop effective marketing and product proposals

Job Related Technical Skills: Candidate should have minimum of 7-10 years experience with a BA or BS degree in marketing or business administration with major concentration in marketing and product strategy. Overall experience should include various field experiences as District Sales Manager and related Corporate Marketing experience and preferable Product Planning experience in launching new models. Also, the ability to manager large complex projects from concept to execution. Must be able to be a self starter with solid experience in Boat Show Promotions and Displays, Sales Promotions, Point-of-Sale Materials Development, Development and Execution of Dealer and Boat Builder Sales Program. Good grasp of product planning, product development time lines and research and excellent outboard product technical knowledge. Training experience with the ability to develop and deliver Sales Training for Dealership Sales. Ability to handle multiple diversemarketing and product planning projects and initiatives in caries core areas - Sales Programs, Marketing initiatives, Boat Shows, Boat Builder Program, Sales Training, Point-of-Sale material, Promotions, Excellent project management skills. Ability to be proactive with limited supervision and be creative while demonstrating ROI on projects managed. Proven communications skills and ability to work in a team environment with various levels of internal/external customers and exceed their. Excellent grasp of outboard product knowledge including the industry and competitive models core launch new products as well as ideas to expand existing models sales.

Proficient WindowXP skills, Video/Photoshop MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Lotus Notes –Project Management -Travel - This position requires 35% travel and a flexible work schedule which includes weekends and evenings.
