ABYC Updates 2008 Schedule of Certifications and Seminars

Also Announces Early 2009 Courses
October 2, 2008, Annapolis, MD: The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC), a leader in technical
workforce training, education and certification programs for marine industry, has updated its 2008 schedule of
certification and seminar courses, and begun adding courses for the first half of 2009. Updated dates, locations
and course descriptions can be found at www.abycinc.org (http://www.abycinc.org). Included in the schedule is the newly revised A/C &
Refrigeration Certification, which now includes the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refrigerants
certification, as well as the recently updated Diesel Engine & Support Systems Certification course.
In addition to scheduled training, ABYC also offers flat-rate, on-site training courses, seminars and custom
tailored technical education and training offerings that can be hosted at any location upon request - both
nationally and internationally.
