41st Annual LONG BEACH YACHT and BOAT SHOW "It's Not Your Father's Boat Show....See Why!"

The Long Beach Yacht and Boat Show tradition continues, September 10-13, forty-one consecutive years of boat shows produced in Long Beach by the Southern California Marine Association and presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California. The Long Beach Yacht and Boat Show at Shoreline Village Marina is one of the West Coast's largest in-water and outdoor boat shows featuring hundreds of motor yachts, cruisers, sailboats, fishing boats, performance sportboats, family trailerables, ski boats, pontoons, inflatables and personal watercraft. Boaters looking for accessory products and related marine services won't be disappointed as the Long Beach Yacht and Boat Show also offers a wide assortment of name brand companies showcasing marine electronics, hardware, safety equipment, insurance and financing.

Long Beach has long been known for presenting the finest selection of sailboats, large and small, new and brokerage, in the western United States. Here you can browse and board a wide variety of ocean-going vessels with knowledgeable industry experts available to answer your questions. This year, the boat show has significantly expanded its popular on-water demo capabilities by inviting local sailing schools and clubs to participate, allowing show attendees a chance to get out on the water with an experienced sailor and find out what boating is all about. Avid sailors will also want to be present when SCMA introduces a new free multi-faceted seminar program featuring prominent industry icons from companies like Catalina Yachts, Harken, Schaefer, MacGregor Yachts, W.D. Schock Corporation plus other nationally recognized speakers.

A party atmosphere is certain to permeate the waterfront scene at Long Beach thanks to a special Saturday evening pizza and beer/wine mixer hosted on the docks by Latitude and Attitudes Magazine. Publisher, Bob Bitchin will be on hand to preside over the festivities, prize giveaways and music in his own inimitable style. The dock party, which is free to all boat show ticket holders and exhibitors, starts at approximately 7:00pm.

What makes this boat show so unique is the fact that exhibits are located both in-the-water at beautiful Shoreline Village Marina and outdoors, immediately adjacent to each other without needing bus or shuttle transportation. Boat show visitors are within easy walking distance to both venues during all show hours plus a vast array of shops and fine restaurants offering special boat show discounts. If, however, a boat is your preferred mode of transportation, the Long Beach Yacht and Boat Show welcomes you too. Boaters are encouraged to avail themselves of in-harbor public anchorage facilities off the fantail of the Queen Mary and visit the boat show for free.
